Date Night - Introduction to Woodturning for Couples
What a great "Date Night" experience for a couple. Come try your hands at woodturning. In the Introduction to Woodturning for Date Night, both of you will learn the basics of woodturning and do some turning while at it. It is not a competition and can be a lot of fun for both of you.
Introduction to the World of Woodturning - Spindle Turning
Course Cost $105
In this one - three-hour session you will learn the basics of the lathe, tools and how to use them. We will cover basic spindle turning and the use of three basic tools: the Spindle Roughing Gouge, the Spindle Gouge and the Skew.
The focus will be on tool control and shaping the spindle that is turned between centers of the lathe.

Introduction To the Wonderful World of Woodturning
Course Cost $325 - Materials Cost: $50
In this three-week course, you will learn the tools, techniques and the basics of woodturning. Each session is three hours long for a total of nine hours.
Session 1 - The Basics - Tools and techniques of woodturning
Session 2 - The basics put into practical applications. Turning two Door Stoppers that use skills that are used in specific applications of furniture making. Or you can choose to turn a spurtle, muddler, or stirring paddle.
Session 3 - The basics continued with other practical applications. Turning a bottle stopper, pizza cutter, ice cream scoop or cheese plane handle.

Exploring Bowls, Woodturning Beyond the Basics
Course Cost $650 - Materials Cost: $50
Now that you are hooked on woodturning, in this six-week course, you go beyond the basics of spindle turning and venture into the world of bowls and platters. Each session is three hours long for a total of 18 hours.
Sessions 1 & 2 - Basics of bowl turning by learning to turn a platter/tray. Learning the basics of turning a platter/tray, you will learn the skills that will transfer into bowls.
Session 3 & 4 - Bowl Basics - Learning to turn a bowl. Taking your basic spindle and newly found skills by turning a platter. You will turn and finish your first bowl!
Sessions 5 &6 - Natural Edge Bowl - Taking those bowl turning skills and applying them to turning a Natural Edge Bowl. You will turn and complete your first Natural Edge Bowl!
Prerequisite: Introduction to the Wonderful World of Woodturning or Dovetail Introduction to Turning

Taking Your New Turning Skills to a New Level
Course Cost $650 - Materials Cost: $100
Now we take woodturning to a higher level. In this six-week course, we are going to explore new areas of woodturning. We are going to explore more advanced turning techniques. We will explore the world of hollowing and epoxy turning. Each session is three hours long for a total of 18 hours.
Session 1 - Turning an Ornament. A balloon ornament is hollowed out to minimize the weight. This is a simple project that can be completed in this one session.
Session 2 & 3 - In this session we will turn and open a vessel that uses the hollowing process and work through a larger opening.
Sessions 4 - 6 - Turning Epoxy - We will go over the preparation for and pour an epoxy piece that you will turn in Sessions 5 and 6. We will also cover the process of finishing this piece with two different methods. One is using CA Glue and the other is Quick Cure Epoxy.
Prerequisite: Exploring Bowls, Woodturning Beyond the Basics or Dovetail Natural Edge Bowl Class.

Hollowing Class
In this three-session class, we will work through the hollowing process. We start the hollowing process on a small piece and will work our way up to a larger piece.
